What to Expect

Welcome! We hope to get the chance to meet you!

We know visiting a new church can be an intimidating experience. What do I wear? How long is the service? What about the kids? We hope the information below will help you navigate your first visit to Berryville Baptist Church.

What time? Our Sunday Service is at 10:00 am. We also have children, student, and adult Sunday School at 9:00 am.

Where is Berryville Baptist?

Berryville Baptist Church is located at 114 Academy Street in Berryville, VA. (click here for directions)

What do I wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable in! You’ll see people dressed in casual clothes and suits worshiping side-by-side. We’re much more interested in meeting you than in what you choose to wear.

Where do I park?

You can park in the parking lot directly beside Berryville Baptist Church, along Academy Street, or in our overflow parking area at the corner of Rice and Academy Street.

Where do I go once I get to Berryville Baptist?

As you enter the front doors, you will see two stairwells, one of either side of the vestibule. Feel free to make your way up the stairs to the sanctuary where a greeter will meet you. They are there to assist you with any questions you may have.

For those with disabilities or special physical needs, Berryville Baptist Church has an elevator located in the rear of the church. Cars may pull into the circle driveway around back to drop off attendees. You will find the elevator right inside the back door to the left.

We like to think of Berryville Baptist as a very warm and inviting extended family. As you get seated, you can expect welcomes and introductions from several of our members.

Children: Childcare is currently unavailable for the early service. Children’s Sunday School starts at 9:00 am and coincides with Adult Sunday School. Childcare is available for our 10:00 am services, for ages birth through fifth grade.

Students Students in grades 6-12 meet for Sunday School at 9:00 am.

Families can enter in through the double doors to the left of the main building. There you will find the children’s nursery, as well as, and greeters to point you towards the appropriate class rooms.

Our 10:00 am service is typically 60 minutes long. Service includes anouncements, prayer requests, a time of worship, and a Biblically centered message. An alter call for special prayer requests and dedications is given at the end of service.
